About Our Client:
For a leading German multinational company with over 40 years of experience in designing software for transportation optimization, modeling & simulation, we are looking for a Account Executive (Italy and Greece).
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing new business opportunities in the Italian market (and occasionally Greece, Cyprus and Malta), with a strong focus on the public sector through tenders and procurement processes;
- Managing and nurturing relationships with existing clients to ensure retention, satisfaction and upsell opportunities;
- Managing complex sales negotiations and presenting software solutions in the mobility and smart city sectors;
- Working towards clear KPIs and individual sales targets (quarterly and annual).
Job requirements
Key Skills:
- Previous experience of at least 3-4 years in B2B software or technology sales (SaaS/subscription-based a plus);
- Proven track record in both new business development and account management;
- Experience in selling to or working with public sector clients (public tenders and procurement processes);
- Native level of Italian and fluency in English;
- Willingness to travel within Italy and, less frequently, abroad.
Complementary Skills:
- Knowledge of mobility, transportation, traffic management or smart city sectors;
- Genuine interest or passion for urban tech, smart cities or digital transformation in the public sector;
- Agile, result-oriented and proactive approach.
Other info
Location: Rome (presence in the office at least 3 days per week).
